New organization for Tecnotree Corporation

Tecnotree Corporation today introduced a new operational mode and a new group structure, driving greater productivity and scalability. The structure consists of three global units - product management, product development, and solution delivery - complemented by regional sales and customer operations.

Product Management is responsible for product strategy, product and solution portfolio roadmap planning, product decision process, product lifecycle management, pricing, and product marketing. Product Development is responsible for identifying overall architecture and platform development along with the identification and development of reusable core components across product lines. Solution Delivery is responsible for defining, creating, delivering, and supporting customer solutions globally across the full product suite.

Timo Laaksonen, Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer and member of the group management board, responsible for sales, marketing and product management. Reporting to Timo Laaksonen, Timo Ahomäki has been appointed Vice President, Product Management.

Naim Kazi, Chief Technology Officer, heads the Product Development unit. Naim Kazi has unfortunately decided to leave Tecnotree by the year end, but is committed to fully support the succession planning and transition period as required. Arun Swamy has been appointed Director, Product Engineering and will be taking over the product development teams. Arun comes with 20+ years of IT expertise working with companies like Siemens, HP and Dell – both in product development and solution delivery roles.

Padma Ravichander has been appointed Chief Delivery Officer and member of the group management board, heading the newly formed Solution Delivery unit. In addition, Padma will be the new head of Tecnotree India operations and Managing Director of Tecnotree Convergence (India) to be ratified in the upcoming Annual General Meeting. With several India head roles and global P&L roles at HP, Mercer and Dell/Perot Systems, Padma brings in a wealth of experience in running global IT service operations.

Padma Ravichander, Naim Kazi and Timo Laaksonen report to the CEO and these appointments are effective immediately. The group management board now consists of Kaj Hagros (President & Chief Executive Officer), Naim Kazi (Chief Technology Officer), Timo Laaksonen (Chief Commercial Officer), Padma Ravichander (Chief Delivery Officer), and Tuomas Wegelius (Chief Financial Officer).

Atul Chopra, the previous Managing Director of Tecnotree Convergence Ltd. (India), will now focus on his Tecnotree group board of directors’ role.
